These providers are expected to handle information consistent with our instructions and applicable law.

B. With Customers (our clients)

If you interact with Fedora as a user of a Customer's environment (for example, submitting a support request through your employer), we may share relevant information with the Customer and its authorized administrators.

5) Customer Data & Managed Services

Customer Data means data we process on behalf of a Customer in providing Services (for example, technical logs, device status, tickets, and operational records associated with a Customer environment).

  • Role: For Customer Data, Fedora typically acts as a service provider/processor. The Customer is responsible for deciding what data is collected and how it is used within their organization.
  • Requests: If you want to exercise privacy rights over Customer Data (e.g., access, deletion), you should contact the Customer directly. We will support the Customer in responding as required by contract and law.
  • Access: Fedora limits access to Customer Data to authorized personnel and approved systems necessary to deliver Services, support tickets, and security operations.

8) Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, meet contractual obligations, comply with legal requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain business records. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected.
